2024 Season Highlights: Jet Vermeulen solidified her role as a dependable presence in the cage for the Warriors, appearing in 22 games and compiling 697 minutes across the season. The sophomore goalkeeper posted a 1.29 goals-against average and totaled 34 saves, recording six solo shutouts while contributing to one of the region’s most formidable defensive units. Vermeulen delivered clutch performances throughout the year, none bigger than her career-high 7-save showing against Shippensburg (Oct. 23), where she faced 16 shots and kept the Warriors within striking distance.

Vermeulen tallied clean sheets in key victories over nationally ranked Millersville, West Chester, and Slippery Rock, showcasing poise and quick reflexes in high-pressure matchups. Her consistency, smart positioning, and calm demeanor under fire helped anchor East Stroudsburg’s backline during its run to the NCAA Tournament. In recognition of her commitment on and off the field, Vermeulen was named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete, capping a breakout sophomore campaign with academic and athletic excellence.
