Michele Frayne, a 2010 graduate of Millersville, is in her sixth season on the East Stroudsburg University coaching staff during the 2015-16 season.

Frayne works primarily with ESU's multi-event athletes and jumpers. Individual multi standouts include two national qualifiers in Dan Johnson, a 2012 All-American in the decathlon, and Trina Carito, a 2011 indoor qualifier in the pentathlon. Johnson won PSAC titles in the heptathlon and decathlon in 2012, Theresa Horn was the PSAC champion in the pentathlon in 2014 and Eric Conard won the PSAC title in the decathlon in 2015.

Frayne competed in the heptathlon at the 2009 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships and was a four-time PSAC runner-up in the multi events, placing second in the heptathlon in 2007, the pentathlon in 2008 and both events in 2009.

She ran on Millersville’s school record-setting indoor 4x200 relay team and has 13 individual entries on the all-time top 10. Indoors she is ranked in the 55 hurdles, 60 hurdles, 200, long jump, triple jump, shot put and pentathlon, and outdoors she is ranked in the 100 hurdles, long jump, triple jump, shot put, javelin and heptathlon.

A native of Philadelphia, Frayne majored in Psychology and minored in Athletic Coaching at Millersville. She currently resides in East Stroudsburg.
