Sophomore (2026): Made starts in three of the 21 games she appeared in... recorded 11 hits, one double, two triples, scored eight runs, and batted in three... stole five bases on seven attempts... posted a perfect fielding percentage through 22 putouts
2025 Season Highlights: Saw action in 21 games, showcasing consistency and versatility behind the plate and in spot starts. Tym posted a .286 batting average, highlighted by a 2-run outing and RBI double in a win over Dominican University (Mar. 12). She also contributed 2 hits and drew 2 walks while adding 8 putouts in a single game behind the plate that same afternoon.
Defensively, Tym recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage across 22 total chances, providing dependable work as a catcher and stepping in capably in late-game situations.
Background: In high school, she was MVP and a captain...had career totals with 104 hits, .400 AVG, and .588 SLG...she was named Ocean County Tournament MVP...she was named All-Division Catcher in her sophomore, junior and senior year...she was also named Offensive Player of the Year...she led her team to be Ocean County Tournament Champions in 2023 and 2024...they were also B-South Public Champions all four years she was there...she was a part of the Environmental Science Club...she was in the Top 8% of Class High Honors...she goals are to be an environmental law consultant, a marine biologist, stream ecologist, and a ichthyologist/cytologist...majoring in environmental science at ESU.
