Mikelyn Mackavage enters her second season as a graduate assistant for the women’s basketball team at East Stroudsburg University during the 2017-18 season.
Mackavage, a 2015 graduate of DeSales University with a bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Marketing, was a member of four straight MAC playoff teams as a shooting guard for the Bulldogs. She was named team captain as a senior. She was also a Character U Peer Mentor and a member of the DAWGS (DeSales Admission Welcoming Group) program.
Mackavage was a standout high school player at East Pennsboro Area, earning multiple all-conference honors and leading the Panthers to a division championship. She also holds her school's record for career three-pointers.
Mackavage is pursing her Masters degree in Management and Leadership-Organizational Behavior at ESU.
