Marina Zardet '20 enters her second season as the head coach of the women's tennis program in 2022-23.

Zardet helped ESU return to competition for the first time in 897 days as the Warriors competed in six PSAC matches during the spring of 2022.

Zardet returned to the Poconos after serving as a graduate assistant coach for the men's and women's tennis teams at DeSales University since July of 2020. She helped the men's team advance to the finals of the Middle Atlantic Conference and also served as the recruiting coordinator.

Zardet got her start in coaching at Kids Play Tennis in Bethlehem back in June 2013 and still serves as the Head Camp/Tennis instructor at the Oakmont Tennis Club.

As a student-athlete for the Warriors from 2016-20, Zardet went 27-21 in singles matches and posted a record of 22-27 in doubles. She was named All-PSAC East Second Team Singles in 2017 after advancing to the Round of 16 at the PSAC Individual Championships. That season, Zardet was also honored as the Team MVP after going 11-6 in singles matches.

In the program's history, Zardet ranks fifth all-time in most singles wins (27) and sixth in best singles record (.562).

Zardet graduated from East Stroudsburg in 2020 with Magna Cum Laude and bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology. She anticipates graduating from DeSales in November 2021 with her master's in Criminal Justice.
