Maddie Reichard begins her second season as a graduate assistant for ESU’s volleyball program in 2019. A four-year letterwinner for the Warriors, Reichard appeared in 87 matches during her collegiate career. She totaled 165 kills, 103 digs, 33 aces and 30 blocks, and she ranked third on the team in aces per set during her senior season.
Active on campus as an undergrad, Reichard spent two years as an equipment manager for the athletic department, and she was also a member of the student-athlete advisory committee. Part of her SAAC tenure included a stint as the organization’s secretary in the spring of 2017. Reichard additionally lettered in track & field that spring, qualifying for the PSAC Outdoor Championships with a top throw of 119-4 in the javelin.
Reichard graduated from ESU in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in public health (community health concentration). She served as a Community Health Educator intern for UPMC Pinnacle Hanover in the spring of 2018, and she has also worked as a Home Care Associate for Country Meadows in York, Pa. Reichard will be working towards a master’s degree in public health during her time on the volleyball coaching staff.
