Syndey Hicks enters her first season as an assistant coach for the volleyball program in 2023.
Hicks comes to the Poconos after serving as an assistant coach for the Metro Volleyball Club in Washington D.C. over the last several months following her playing career which included four seasons at Coppin State University (2018-21) and one year at Wilmington University (2022).
In five seasons combined with the Bald Eagles and Wildcats, Hicks played in 88 matches and 213 sets while recording 342 kills, 55 digs, 39 blocks and five aces.
The Ashburn, Va. native earned her bachelor's degree in sports management from Coppin State, master's degree in business administration at Wilmington and has an Impact Certification.
