Cooper Virta was named the Graduate Assistant Coach for East Stroudsburg University Women’s Lacrosse in August 2025.
At ESU, Virta plays a major role in recruiting, communications, student-athlete academic support, and overall program operations. He also oversees the team’s social media and digital presence, helping to elevate the program’s brand and reach online.
Prior to joining the Warriors, Virta spent three seasons with Boston University Women’s Lacrosse as a Student Manager, where he assisted the Terriers with practices, captured game and practice film, and supported Division I Lacrosse operations.
A Pennsylvania native, Virta graduated from Boston University in 2025 with a B.S. in Public Relations. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Administration at East Stroudsburg University, with an expected completion in 2027.
