Dr. Brendan Finn serves as the Coordinator of Sport Performance and an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at East Stroudsburg University. He oversees the strength and conditioning development of all 22 varsity athletic programs while teaching courses in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Strength and Conditioning Theory, and Sport Performance.

Finn was promoted to Coordinator of Sport Performance in 2024 after serving as the university's Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for three years. Prior to joining the full-time staff, he worked as a Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant at ESU and gained additional experience through internships in both collegiate and private-sector performance settings.

In addition to his coaching and teaching responsibilities, Finn has presented research on strength and conditioning and sport performance at regional and national conferences through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). His interests include athlete development, sport science, and injury prevention.

A native of Hackettstown, N.J., Finn earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University and his master's degree in Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
