Frank Mroz enters his first season as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for East Stroudsburg in 2016-17, working primarily with ESU’s football program.
Mroz is a 2016 graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, earning a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. As an undergrad, he gained clinical experience at several schools, including Temple (women’s volleyball), Drexel (women’s basketball), Penn (football) and Cinnaminson High School (various sports). Mroz has also volunteered at the Penn Relays and tournaments for fencing, field hockey, soccer, volleyball and wrestling.
The Clementon, N.J., native is a member of both the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the American College of Sports Medicine. He was previously a board member of Temple’s Athletic Training Association, and he has traveled to West Point, N.Y., to deliver SAC and BESS tests to cadets at the United States Military Academy as part of a baseline concussion study.
Mroz is working towards his master’s degree in athletic training at ESU.
