Jessica Klugh is in her fifth year at ESU after joining the Warriors in January 2018. Her sport responsibilities are field-hockey, volleyball, wrestling, lacrosse, and women’s track and field. She also serves as a preceptor to students in the ATEP at ESU. In 2021, she obtained a Nutrition Certificate from California University of Pennsylvania.
She was previously an athletic trainer for UPMC Sports Medicine in Pittsburgh. While with UPMC, Klugh was outreach to Butler Area School District from July 2016 to January 2018, serving as the lead athletic trainer for a wide variety of sports programs, including football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, tennis, swimming, and diving. During that same time period, she worked as a preceptor, providing clinical instruction to undergraduate training students from Slippery Rock University.
Klugh received her Master of Science degree in June 2016 from Ohio University. During her time at Ohio, she was the head athletic trainer at Warren Local High School, preceptor to undergraduate athletic training students, and served as assistant to the clinical coordinator. At Ohio, Klugh became certified in the IASTM technique Técnica Gavilán and completed research in patient-reported outcome measures.
Klugh received her B.S. in athletic training from Slippery Rock in 2013.
Klugh resides in Easton with her husband and two dogs.
