Justin Scott is in his first year as the Coordinator for Special Projects, Diversity and Social Justice Education in Intercollegiate Athletics at East Stroudsburg University. He is responsible for providing support for ESU's administration and coaching staff in recruiting and retaining diverse student-athletes and coaches, implementing social justice education programs for staff members and assisting in the areas of compliance and athletic operations.

Scott is also serving as an assistant coach for the Warriors' women's basketball team during the 2009-10 season. He was a two-year letterwinner and team captain for the Warriors' men's basketball program and graduated from ESU with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management in 2007. He earned his Master's in Management and Leadership with a concentration in Sport Management in 2008 while serving as an assistant coach.

He was the graduate assistant for ESU's Frederick Douglass Institute for Intercultural Studies in 2007-08 where he worked closely with the Frederick Douglass Institute director, developed the Annual Report and assisted in the recruitment of diverse graduate students. He was also a member of the Dean's Student Advisory Committee for ESU's College of Business, Management and Economics and served the athletic department in a number of capacities as an undergraduate student. He began his collegiate career at Bloomsburg University, where he was a Board of Governors Scholarship recipient.

Scott has represented ESU at the Pennsylvania Black Conference on Higher Education and the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) Diversity Summit while serving in his present position.
