Dr. Shala E. Davis, a professor and the graduate program coordinator in the Department of Exercise Science, is East Stroudsburg University's Faculty Athletics Representative.
Dr. Davis has served as ESU's FAR since 2003, representing the university and its faculty in its relationship with the NCAA. She has been a member of the faculty at ESU since 1996.
A former NCAA Division I field hockey and indoor track & field athlete at the University of Delaware, Dr. Davis brings a wealth of experience and perspective to the position. She received her bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Delaware, Master of Science in Health and Sport Science from Wake Forest University and Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Virginia.
Dr. Davis continues her lifetime commitment to sport and activity by regularly competing in marathons.
