Tyler McGarvey enters his first season with the Warriors in 2026 as a Graduate Assistant.
McGarvey earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Penn State Berks, where he was a five-year catcher for the Nittany Lions. After his playing career, he transitioned into coaching, serving as the Field Manager for the Waccamaw Waves in the Beach Collegiate Baseball League during the summers of 2024 and 2025, capturing the league championship in 2024. He also spent the 2024–2025 season coaching at Salem Community College.
McGarvey is now pursuing his Master’s in Exercise Science while overseeing the catchers and assisting the hitters at East Stroudsburg University. He continues to apply his passion for player development and performance enhancement.
