EAST STROUDSBURG - Jamar Brittingham ran for 190 yards and Bloomsburg scored 29 straight points in the second half to leave Eiler-Martin Stadium with a 35-26 victory over East Stroudsburg University on Saturday afternoon.

The Warriors (2-6, 1-3) led 13-6 at halftime and 20-6 after Doug Ogden caught his second touchdown pass of the day 3:04 into the second half. Brittingham cut the deficit to 20-14 midway through the third quarter with a one-yard touchdown run, and the Huskies (5-3, 3-1) converted on a two-point conversion pass from holder Jeremy Lightner to linebacker Rob Biernat.

Bloomsburg went ahead 21-20 with 13:08 left in the game on a one-yard run by quarterback Dan Latorre after a six-play, 76-yard drive which included four carries for 52 yards by Brittingham and a 23-yard scramble by Latorre.

Jesse Cooper returned an interception 50 yards for a touchdown to extend the lead to 28-20 with 5:44 remaining. ESU turned the ball over on downs on its next possession and Josh Heck capped a 39-yard drive with a two-yard run with 1:41 left in the game.

LeRyan Dallas returned the ensuing kickoff 41 yards to the Bloomsburg 49, and Roken ran for 16 yards on third-and-nine and hit Samuel Shuman for 28 yards to the four to put ESU in position to pull within one score. Roken threw a two-yard touchdown pass to tight end Mike Piazza with five seconds left, and Bloomsburg was flagged for pass interference on the two-point conversion try. Joe Partridge was stopped from the two-yard line on the next play to keep the score 35-26.

Bloomsburg scored first in the contest, using a 14-play, 89-yard drive that erased most of the end of the first quarter to set up a four-yard touchdown pass from Latorre to Brahin Bilal 11 seconds into the second quarter. Jon Koenig's extra-point attempt was no good.

ESU pulled even on a 14-yard pass from Roken to Shuman less than five minutes later, but Cooper blocked the PAT to maintain the 6-6 deadlock. Ogden struck for a 67-yard touchdown pass from Roken with 1:59 left in the half when he caught a pass at midfield, picked up blocks from Dallas and Jon Clouse and found the end zone to give ESU a 13-6 lead.

Roken was 19-of-35 for 245 yards and tied a career-high with four touchdown passes. Ogden's three catches went for 88 yards and two scores, and Shuman had five catches for 66 yards.

Defensively, senior linebacker Jayson Frank led ESU with 13 tackles, Steve Van Alstine had nine and Dave Lotier made eight stops.

The Huskies ran for 300 yards on 56 carries in the game. Brittingham ran 29 times for 190 yards, Heck had 12 carries for 63 yards and Latorre ran for 31 yards on eight attempts. Latorre was 10-of-16 passing for 77 yards and the touchdown to Bilal, who had three receptions for 38 yards.

ESU will close the season next Saturday with a 1 p.m. kickoff at Kutztown.
