Box Score

LOCK HAVEN - Trevor Kelley had a perfectly placed shot from 30 yards out to score the only goal of the match in the 16th minute to give East Stroudsburg University a 1-0 victory over Lock Haven.

Stifling the Bald Eagles throughout the match, the Warriors limited them to only one shot hitting the frame. ESU goalkeeper Larry Pokrywa made the only save opportunity he had to post his fifth shutout of the season.

ESU controlled played through most of the contest holding an 18-12 advantage in shots and a 6-3 edge in corner kicks.

After having its season-high 12 game winning streak snapped on Oct. 15, the Warriors have returned to form posting a 2-0-1 record, allowing only one goal during that period.

ESU will host a semifinal game in the PSAC Tournament on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 4 p.m. The opponent is yet to be determined as a result of a postponement of a match on Saturday.
