BLOOMSBURG - High school teammates Danny Drago and Jason Rudder of Notre Dame-East Stroudsburg scored second-half goals two minutes apart to give No. 11 East Stroudsburg University a 2-1 victory at Bloomsburg on Wednesday.

Drago scored his fourth goal of the season off a corner kick from Toric Robinson in the 51st minute to give the Warriors a 1-0 lead, and Rudder followed with his fourth goal of the year on a breakway 1:51 later.

Christian Rota scored for Bloomsburg with just over 20 minutes left, but sophomore goalkeeper Larry Pokrywa (three saves) and the ESU defense held the Huskies at bay to improve to 10-1 overall and 8-1 in the PSAC.

Jon Keller made eight saves for Bloomsburg, as ESU held a 13-6 advantage in shots for the match.

The Warriors will host Slippery Rock on Sunday in a PSAC match-up at 12 p.m. at Eiler-Martin Stadium. ESU won 3-1 at The Rock in its PSAC opener on Aug. 26.
