Robinson, Ellison Connect Twice in 2-0 Win over Kutztown

EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior Roshane Ellison scored both goals on assists from junior Toric Robinson as East Stroudsburg University shut out Kutztown 2-0 in PSAC East soccer on Friday at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

The Warriors improve to 13-3 (6-1 PSAC East) and ESU head coach Jerry Sheska won his 398th career game, moving within two victories of becoming the fifth head men's soccer coach in Division II history with 400 wins.

Ellison scored his 13th and 14th goals of the season to take over the PSAC lead and Robinson notched his fifth and sixth assists. The pair connected 11:56 into the game, and again with just over four minutes remaining. Robinson also had two assists in the Warriors' 3-1 win over Philadelphia University on Tuesday.

ESU held a 29-3 advantage in shots and sophomore Troy Hernandez made one save for his first career shutout. Matthew Fredericks had 10 saves for the Golden Bears.

The Warriors host Bloomsburg on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in their final home game of the season before going on the road for three straight contests. The semifinals of the PSAC playoffs will be held Wednesday, November 5, with ESU currently ranked second in the PSAC East standings.
