Box Score

EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior Roshane Ellison, the PSAC's leader in goals, scored on a free kick with 1:08 left in the first overtime to give No. 12 East Stroudsburg University a 1-0 win over Bloomsburg and head coach Jerry Sheska his 399th career victory.

Ellison found the lower right corner of the goal, bending the ball around the wall, for his 15th goal of the season. The Warriors (14-3, 7-1) had five shots in overtime and held a 22-10 advantage for the game, but Bloomsburg (7-6-4, 2-3-2) had the best two chances in regulation.

ESU senior Nick Greenwood cleared a ball off the line following a shot by Christian Rota with seven minutes left in the first half, and the Huskies' Ryan Lafferty beat Warriors goalkeeper Larry Pokrywa but hit the post three minutes into the second half.

David Leiendecker made seven saves for Bloomsburg and Pokrywa had two saves for the Warriors. The shutout is the seventh of the season for Pokrywa and the ninth overall for ESU.

Sheska is one win away from becoming the fifth men's soccer coach in Division II with 400 career victories, and has 438 career wins when including his 39-10-2 record as the first head coach of ESU's women's soccer program from 1992-94. He has won 15 PSAC men's soccer championships and guided the women to the conference title in 1994, when he was the PSAC Coach of the Year in both sports.

ESU finishes the regular season with three straight road games, beginning on Saturday at West Chester. The Warriors travel to PSAC East leader Millersville for their final conference game next Tuesday.
