ESU Men's Soccer Falls 2-0 at Millersville, Sets Up PSAC Semifinal Rematch

MILLERSVILLE - Millersville scored both of its goals in the second half to secure the No. 1 seed in the PSAC East in next week's men's soccer playoffs with a 2-0 win over East Stroudsburg University on Tuesday night.

The Marauders, ranked No. 6 in this week's NSCAA/adidas coaches poll, got the game's first goal from Ryan Kiley on an assist from Sean McLaughlin in the 62nd minute. Dan Prian added an insurance goal 16 minutes later as Millersville (14-2 overall) remains undefeated in PSAC East play with a 9-0 record.

Matt Langione and ESU's Larry Pokrywa both made four saves and Millersville held a 12-11 edge in shots.

ESU, ranked No. 11 in Division II by the NSCAA and first in the Atlantic Region in this week's rankings released by the NCAA, falls to 15-4 (8-2 PSAC East) with one game left in the regular season on Saturday at Alderson-Broaddus.

The winner of next Wednesday's PSAC semifinal game at Millersville will host the conference championship game on Saturday, November 8. ESU has won two straight PSAC championships and 13 of the last 16 titles under head coach Jerry Sheska, who won his 400th career game on Saturday at West Chester.
