EAST STROUDSBURG - Six players scored at least a dozen points, led by 20 from junior guard Andy Heimbach, and East Stroudsburg University set the school record for margin of victory with a 118-51 win over Penn State-Wilkes on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Heimbach was perfect from the field, going 8-for-8 with a three-pointer, and 3-of-3 at the foul line to hit 20 points for the fourth time in his career. Senior forward Chris Bach had 18 points and seven rebounds and was 7-of-10 from the floor and 4-of-4 at the line. He is shooting 86.0 percent (37-of-43) at the line this season.

Sophomore forward Mike Tobin had a career-high 15 points and added seven rebounds and three steals. Freshman forward Dan Robinson matched his career-high with 13 points, and senior guard Dawud Lyons and sophomore guard Mike DeMarco scored 12 points each.

Junior guard Robby Pines had 11 assists, five rebounds and four steals and is the first ESU player with at least 10 assists in a game since Murvin English, who had 10 against Briarcliffe in February 2007.

Mike Ackley scored a game-high 32 points for the Nittany Lions and was 8-of-15 from the three-point line, but the Warriors forced 25 turnovers and forced the rest of the team to shoot 8-for-34 from the field.

ESU led 10-9 less than three minutes into the game and then outscored PSU-Wilkes 40-5 over the next 10 minutes. The Warriors were 16-of-22 during the stretch and shot 70 percent in the first half and 63 percent for the game.

The previous record for margin of victory was 63 points against Briarcliffe during the 2005-06 season. The Warriors' 118 points are tied for fourth-most in school history, and one less than the 119 they put up in a 59-point win over PSU-Schuylkill in the season opener.

ESU will travel to Lakeland, Fla. for a tournament at Florida Southern the week between Christmas and New Year's Day, with games against Florida Southern on Dec. 29 and St. Joseph's (Ind.) on Dec. 30. The host Moccasins have been ranked as high as third in Division II this season, and St. Joseph's beat No. 12 Kentucky Wesleyan by 19 points two weeks ago.
