KUTZTOWN - Senior captains Roshane Ellison and Jason Shegda both scored their fourth goals of the season as No. 7 East Stroudsburg University put away Kutztown 4-0 in its PSAC East opener on Saturday afternoon.

Ellison and fellow seniors Nick Greenwood and Kevin Holmes all scored first-half goals within nine minutes for the Warriors. Ellison opened the scoring at the 24:02 mark, Greenwood scored on an assist from freshman Kyle Niemann three minutes later, and Holmes had his third goal of the season to give ESU a comfortable 3-0 margin at halftime.

Shegda added a second-half goal on a pass from senior Gregory Nimchan, and junior goalkeeper Larry Pokrywa played all 90 minutes in goal for his first shutout of the season and the 14th of his career.

ESU will take a 3-1 overall record into Tuesday's PSAC East match-up with Shippensburg.
