Daktronics Atlantic Region Team

EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University senior midfielder Toric Robinson has been named to the Daktronics NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Men's Soccer first team, it was announced Tuesday.

Robinson (Westmoreland, Jamaica/Munro College) is on the Daktronics All-Region team for the second straight season after being mentioned on the second team last year. He became the seventh player in school history to earn four All-PSAC honors in his career when he was named to the first team last week.

ESU's leader in assists during all four years of his career, Robinson had team-highs with seven goals and four assists as a senior. His 28 career assists are tied for fifth in school history and he scored 13 goals in 83 career starts.

Robinson was a starter on the Warriors' 2006 and 2007 PSAC championship teams and helped ESU make three NCAA tournament appearances.

He is also a two-time ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District selection and maintains a 3.65 grade-point average in Business Management. He was named to the first team this fall and is on the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration.

Slippery Rock forward Jeremy Deighton was named the Atlantic Region Player of the Year and led a region-best six Slippery Rock players on the team.
