MILLERSVILLE – No. 5-ranked Millersville scored three second-half goals and improved to 5-0 in the PSAC East men's soccer standings with a 4-0 win over East Stroudsburg University on Wednesday night at Biemesderfer Stadium.
The Marauders (8-1, 5-0) got on the board on an own goal in the 29th minute and took a 2-0 lead just over 10 minutes into the second half on the second goal of the year by Matt Wilson. Aaron Roland and Kyle Loughlin provided the final margin with a pair of goals in a four-minute span later in the period.
Senior goalkeeper
Larry Pokrywa made nine saves for the Warriors (3-6-1, 1-3-1), a season-high, and entered the game ranked third in the PSAC in saves per game. Matt Langione had four saves for Millersville.
ESU is back in action on Saturday with a trip to Mercyhurst, which is second in the PSAC West and 8-2 overall.
