NEWARK, Del. – Senior Emily Carothers and freshman Lauren Ventrella both won two events and the men's team won eight events overall as East Stroudsburg University swept the men's and women's College division titles at the Thomson Invitational at the University of Delaware on Saturday.

The Warriors also had two athletes compete at the Millrose Games at Madison Square Garden on Friday night. Senior Paul Wagner had a mark of 60-10 in the men's weight throw, while senior Amanda Sines threw 44-8 1/4 in the women's event.

On the men's side, victories from seven individuals and the 4x800m relay team gave the Warriors a commanding 179.5 points to easily outpace Lincoln (74), Salisbury (73) and Rowan (66) in the 13-school field.

A quintet of seniors all finished first in their events – Rusty Smith (60m hurdles, 8.29), Andrew McCloskey (200m, 22.60), Chris Reddick (400m, 50.18), Drew Miller (triple jump, 46-9 1/2) and Matthew Gallup (pole vault, 15-9).
