LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Every starter had at least one hit and one RBI in both games as East Stroudsburg University scored 48 runs in a doubleheader at Lincoln on Thursday afternoon.
ESU (18-16) won 26-5 and 22-2 and freshman
Tyler Setzler had 14 strikeouts in 6.0 innings in the second game.
The Warriors compiled 46 hits, 13 walks and 10 hit by pitches, and freshmen
Eric Boyer and
Brian Ernst were both 6-for-10 at the plate.
Ernst had two doubles and two home runs and Boyer had a double, triple and homer. Ernst went 3-for-5 with six RBI and five runs in the opener, and freshman
Tom Spilatore was 5-for-6 with five RBI in the second game.
Freshman
Nico Delerme (5-for-6) homered and is hitting .424 this season, while sophomore
Ryan Guarino also went deep for his first career home run for the Warriors. Guarino drove in five runs in the first game.

John Wisser threw 3.0 innings each in game one and senior
Kenny Serfass threw a scoreless seventh with one strikeout. Redshirt freshman
Zak Tupper struck out two in the seventh in relief of Setzler in the second game.
The Warriors host Millersville in a critical four-game series in PSAC East action this weekend, beginning with two games at Mitterling Field on Friday at 12 p.m.
