Douds, the PSAC record holder for career victories, went over the 200-win mark in 2006, while Luckhardt reached the mark last season. There are five active 200-win coaches in Division II.

NATIONAL RANKING: California, the three-time defending NCAA regional champions, is ranked No. 4 in the AFCA Coaches Poll, tied for its highest ranking in school history. ESU is 10-12 against ranked opponents since the AFCA poll began in 2000 and is 1-4 against teams ranked in the top 10 (for more, see page 9).
The Warriors were ranked No. 25 in last week's AFCA poll but dropped out after a 23-17 loss to IUP last week. They now have a 21-11 record when ranked in the AFCA top 25 but have lost their last three games. ESU is ranked No. 23 in this week's D2Football.com poll, down 11 spots from a week ago.
THE SERIES: ESU holds a 3-1-1 advantage in the all-time series since a 28-28 tie in the 1968 state championship game in the first-ever meeting. The Warriors won 40-13 in 1992, 9-6 in 1993 and 41-34 in 2006 before falling 26-3 at California in the 2007 season opener.
