MILLERSVILLE – Junior forward Terrance King had 26 points and 12 rebounds, senior guard Russell Graham III scored 19 points and freshman guard Whis Grant had 17 as East Stroudsburg University earned an 88-76 road win at Millersville in PSAC East men's basketball on Wednesday night at Pucillo Gymnasium.

King had his fourth double-double of the season and eighth of his career while surpassing his previous career-high of 20 points, which he hit three times. He was 10-for-11 from the field, knocked down an early three-pointer (improving to 3-for-5 this season) and was 5-for-5 at the foul line while pulling down six rebounds at each end of the floor and adding three blocked shots.

Junior forward Duane Johnson had 10 points and six rebounds and senior forward Eric Bryan, playing in his 100th career game, added six points and four boards as the Warriors' starters scored 78 of their 88 points.

Graham tied his career-high with 19 points, had six assists and went 10-for-11 from the foul line, including 8-for-8 in the final 1:30, as ESU (10-7, 6-5) held off a Millersville (5-10, 3-8) team that never got closer than six points after the Warriors led 46-38 at halftime. Grant added five assists and shot 5-for-9 from the field and 5-for-6 at the foul line.

ESU was 13-for-22 from the field, 4-for-5 from the three-point line and 16-for-16 at the foul line in an efficient first half, as King scored 14 points and Grant had 12 before intermission. ESU shot 55.3 percent (26-for-57) from the field, 5-for-9 from long distance and 31-for-37 at the foul line for the game.

The Warriors opened the game on an 11-0 run, getting a first-possession layup from King and three-pointers by Johnson, King and Grant, before Millersville rallied to take a 19-17 lead, its only one of the game, with 12 minutes left.

ESU used a late 6-0 run to lead by eight at halftime, and King scored six of the team's first eight points to tie his career-high of 20 four minutes into the second half. The Warriors' biggest lead of the game was 14 (58-44) on a bucket by Johnson with 14 minutes left, and they held off every Millersville effort to make it a one-possession game.

The Warriors made their first 17 free throws before struggling midway through the second half, but Graham, a 65 percent foul shooter, stepped up late as ESU scored its last 10 points from the foul line.

Anthony Coleman scored 22 points, Larry Grant had 11 and six assists and three more players scored nine points each for Millersville, which shot 46.7 percent (28-for-60) but was outrebounded 35-27 by the Warriors, including 23-10 in the second half.

The Warriors are at Shippensburg on Saturday as they play their second road game of the week. The Raiders (6-11, 3-8) fell 78-74 at West Chester on Wednesday night and ESU holds a two-game lead on West Chester for the third spot in the PSAC East.
