CLEARWATER, Fla. – Upper Iowa and Cedarville (Ohio) both rallied from late-inning deficits to post a pair of comeback wins over East Stroudsburg University on the second day of the Warriors' trip to Florida on Saturday at Jack Russell Stadium.
The Warriors (9-4) were 2-0 on their first day in Florida on Friday, with an 8-4 win over Oakland City (Ind.) and a 9-6 win over Upper Iowa.
Upper Iowa came back from a 4-1 deficit in the eighth inning in a 5-4 (12 inn.) win in ESU's first game on Saturday, and Cedarville overcame a 9-2 margin through four innings in a 12-9 win in the second game of the day.

Eric Boyer hit a bases-clearing triple and scored on a sacrifice fly by senior 1B
Jason Kelmer to put ESU ahead 4-1 in the eighth against Upper Iowa, but the Peacocks came back with three runs in the bottom of the inning to tie it at 4-all.
Upper Iowa stranded two runners in both the 9th and 10th innings, and ESU couldn't capitalize on a leadoff double by senior 2B
Ryan Guarino in the top of the 12th, before a one-out double by Andrew Kraus plated the winning run in the bottom of the 11th.

Brian Ernst went 7.1 innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on three hits with eight strikeouts and five walks. Four relievers followed Ernst to the mound with freshman

Tyler Beck blanked the Warriors over their final 4.0 innings to earn the win for Upper Iowa. Beck allowed two hits, struck out one and walked one in relief of Brett Westra (8.0 IP, 4 runs, 4 hits, 2 strikeouts, 3 walks). Kraus led the Upper Iowa offense, going 3-for-6 with two doubles and three RBI.
Against Cedarville, ESU scratched out a run in the bottom of the first before exploding for eight in the fourth to take a 9-2 lead before the Yellow Jackets rallied.
Boyer keyed the eight-run fourth with a grand slam, his second homer of the season and ninth of his career. Guarino and junior OF

Cedarville came back with three runs in the sixth, two in the eighth and took the lead with five in the ninth. The Cedarville offense had 15 hits, all singles, with five multi-hit games and three hits each from No. 5 hitter Chris Ward and No. 7 hitter Sam Summerlin.

Colin Taylor made his first career start and went 5.0 innings (5 runs, 4 earned, 8 hits, 3 strikeouts, 3 walks) for the Warriors.
Cedarville's Jordan Ammon was credited with the win after throwing 5.1 innings of one-hit relief, striking out five and walking one. Starter Ryan Ledbetter gave up all nine runs (eight earned) on five hits and five walks in the first 3.2 innings.
ESU plays Minnesota-Crookston in a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 1 p.m.
