FLUSHING, N.Y. - Paul Sandoval scored a goal in each half and Queens College withstood East Stroudsburg University's 15-shot attack for a 2-1 win in non-conference men's soccer on Tuesday afternoon.

Sandoval scored an unassisted goal in the 32nd minute and added his second goal on an assist from Danny Stoker in the 54th minute.
Fischer scored the Warriors' first goal of the season with 1:04 remaining. An NSCAA first team All-Region midfielder as a junior, Fischer scored five goals and had four assists in his first season at ESU.

The Warriors are back on the field Saturday as they host Davis & Elkins at 1 p.m. in their home opener at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
