Andrew McGinley scored the goals as East Stroudsburg University broke into the win column in PSAC men's soccer with a 3-1 victory over Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
UPJ struck first in the 32nd minute before the Warriors leveled the game on Stuppe's goal in the 39th minute, then took and extended their lead in the 53rd and 56th minutes.
The win is ESU's first against a PSAC opponent since winning 2-1 at Gannon on October 8, 2011 and the Warriors' goals are their first in the PSAC since October 20, 2012.
Senior midfielder
Matthew Geidner assisted on Lopez's goal which gave ESU the lead 7:03 into the second half.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Callum Hampson had two saves for ESU (2-9-2, 1-6) which outshot UPJ 25-7. Tim Ofman had eight saves for the visitors.
The Warriors travel to western Pennsylvania next weekend, facing Slippery Rock on Friday at 3:30 p.m. and California on Saturday at 1 p.m.

* ESU recorded the 725th win in program history, with an all-time record of 725-376-104 (.645) in its 87th season of competition. The Warriors have won 19 PSAC championships and played in 23 NCAA Tournaments.
