EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University scored three second-half goals to post its first win of the 2013 men's soccer season, overcoming a halftime deficit in a 3-1 non-conference victory over Felician on Wednesday night at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

Senior forward Nemanja Nikolic scored the game-tying goal in the 58th minute, freshman midfielder Andrew McGinley had the go-ahead goal in the 76th minute and freshman midfielder Ben Roda added a third goal in the 80th minute for the Warriors (1-6-2).

Felician (1-6-1) took a 1-0 lead 14:01 into the game as Azedine Maazouzi scored directly off a corner kick, but ESU held a 14-5 advantage in shots in the second half after both teams had three shots in the first. The Warriors scored five goals in their first eight games before scoring three in 22 minutes after intermission.

Nikolic's goal, his third of the season, was assisted by Roda and freshman midfielder Austin Bogart. McGinley scored on an assist from senior midfielder Matthew Geidner, and freshman midfielder Casey Albino assisted on Roda's insurance goal.

Sophomore J.B. Pahls made his second start of the season in goal and had two saves. Anthony Tsouhnikas made six saves for Felician.

The win is ESU's first since Sept. 30, 2012 when the Warriors had a 7-0 win over Seton Hill.

ESU, 0-3 in PSAC play, hosts No. 23-ranked Millersville (6-2-1, 3-0) in its next game on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. The Warriors will play their fourth straight PSAC home game, finishing a stretch of six of seven games at Eiler-Martin Stadium, before they play away from home in five of their final seven contests.
