1 • ESU (4-3, 1-3 PSAC East) travels to Kutztown (1-6, 1-3) for its final road trip of the 2013 season. The Warriors are finishing their road schedule on the 2nd-earliest date (Oct. 26) since 1993.

2 • Kutztown has won 3 straight in the series, with both teams scoring 30+ points in all 3 games. Kutztown won 59-33 at ESU last year. In the last 3 games, ESU is averaging 32.0 points and 504.3 yards per game, and Kutztown is averaging 48.7 points and 534.0 yards per game.

3 • ESU head coach Denny Douds faces his 103rd different opposing coach in Kutztown's Drew Folmar, who quarterbacked Millersville from 1997-00. Their final meeting was Douds' 268th career game at ESU. This week marks Douds' 415th game as head coach, and Folmar's 8th.

4 • Douds has 241 career wins, a PSAC record and 1 win from tying Mel Tjeerdsma (NW Missouri St.) for 3rd on the DII all-time wins list. Douds' 241 wins are 25th in college football history.

5 • ESU and Kutztown have a similar breakdown in starters by class, with 12 upperclassmen (SR/JR) and 10 underclassmen (SO/FR). ESU starts 4 seniors, 8 juniors, 8 sophomores and 2 freshmen (1 true, 1 redshirt), while KU starts 7 seniors, 5 juniors, 6 sophomores and 4 freshmen.

6 • R-So. QB Matt Soltes had 542 yards of total offense (476 passing, 66 rushing) vs. Bloomsburg, tied for 6th-most in ESU history and 11th-most in PSAC history. ESU QB's have 10 of the 16 500-yard games in the PSAC, and Soltes is 1 of 4 with multiple 500-yard games. He is averaging 372.4 total yards in 14 career games as a starter, and is 212 yards from passing James Franklin '95 (current Vanderbilt head coach) for 6th on ESU's career list.

7 • R-Sr. WR Robert Bleiler had 100 yards for the 4th time in 5 games last week, with 8 catches for 130 yards and 2 TD. Bleiler is 3rd in the PSAC in catches (6.6) and yards (104.1) per game. R-Jr. TE Steven Jones (5-82, TD last week) is 4th among DII TE's in receiving yards (65.1) and t-3rd in TD's (7).

8 • R-Fr. TB Robert Healy (12 carries, 73 yards last week) is 2nd on ESU's freshman rushing list with 670 yards behind Stewart Ford's 1,109 (1997).

9 • ESU faced the #5 (Bloomsburg, 341.2 ypg) and #24 (West Chester, 229.8) rushing offenses in DII, and 2 of the top 4 DII rushers (Franklyn Quiteh, Rondell White) the last 2 weeks. This week, Kutztown is 161st of 163 DII teams with 47.7 ypg.

10 • Kutztown ranks 20th in DII in strength of schedule at 27-15 (.643) (not counting opponents' wins over KU). ESU is t-44th at 24-18 (.571).
