SLIPPERY ROCK – Dom Francis scored the game's only goal on a free kick with 4:51 remaining to lift No. 23-ranked Slippery Rock to a 1-0 win over East Stroudsburg University in PSAC men's soccer on Friday afternoon.
Slippery Rock (11-2-1, 6-2) maintains its hold on third in the PSAC standings as Francis scored his fourth goal of the season. Slippery Rock held a 16-6 advantage in shots and Chris Zier made two saves for the shutout.
