BLOOMSBURG – Fran Miller scored the game's only goal in the 74th minute, giving Bloomsburg a 1-0 win over East Stroudsburg University in the Warriors' season finale in PSAC men's soccer on Saturday.

ESU held a 15-12 edge in shots, but Bernie Roell made 10 saves for the shutout for the Huskies (8-9-1, 5-5-1), which finished in a tie for the PSAC's sixth and final playoff spot but missed out on a tiebreaker with Seton Hill.

Sophomore goalkeeper Callum Hampson had seven saves for the Warriors (2-13-2, 1-10).

Six seniors played their final games for ESU – midfielder Marc DeFeo (54 career games, 27 starts, 2 goals, 3 assists), midfielder Matthew Geidner (61/56, 6 goals, 8 assists), midfielder Derek Lopez (52/28, 4 goals), back Dominick Morizio (46/42, 2 assists), forward Nemanja Nikolic (47/46, 12 goals, 4 assists) and back Khriswayne Wallace (65/65, 2 assists).

DeFeo, Geidner, Lopez, Morizio and Wallace were all freshmen on ESU's 2010 PSAC runner-up team, which reached the PSAC championship game for the 20th time in the 29th and final season for head coach Jerry Sheska.
