WEST CHESTER - Junior All-America guard Whis Grant had another standout performance with a career-high 31 points, and No. 6-ranked East Stroudsburg University finished the game on a 22-3 run to stay unbeaten with a 107-94 win at West Chester in PSAC East men's basketball on Saturday afternoon at Hollinger Field House.

Freshman forward Rasheed Moore tied his career-high with 24 points and added seven rebounds, and junior guard Matt Tobin had 16 points and 10 assists for ESU (18-0, 8-0), which trailed 91-85 with 5:38 left before rallying for its 18th straight win - tied for the longest active streak in Division II.

West Chester (12-6, 5-3), the PSAC East preseason favorite, used a 17-3 run to take its first lead since the first minute of the game before the Warriors responded to remain one of four DII teams without a loss this season.

ESU led 61-54 after a high-scoring first half, with Grant scoring 19 points and ESU going 22-for-35 from the field. The Warriors 61 first-half points and 107 points overall are both the most by the Warriors under 12th-year head coach Jeff Wilson, who won his 200th career game on Wednesday with a 60-44 win over Cheyney. ESU also set a school record with its sixth 100-point game this season.

The Warriors had five double-figure scorers in Grant, Moore, Tobin, redshirt junior guard Will Brown (11 points) and sophomore guard Jamal Nwaniemeka (10 points). Junior forward Lamont Tillery added five points and six rebounds.

Brown hit a key three-pointer to start ESU's closing run. Moore scored 10 of his 24 points down the stretch, and Grant's fifth three-pointer made it 97-91 as the Warriors started to pull away.

Grant had a career-high 30 points twice at ESU - his first career game vs. West Liberty in 2011-12, and a win over Alderson-Broaddus in the 2012-13 season opener. He is the fourth Warrior with three 30-point games since 1985-86.

Grant and Moore's 55 combined points are the most by two ESU teammates in 12 seasons under Wilson. Moore tied his season-best of 24 points in a 76-64 win at Slippery Rock on December 17.

Tobin, the PSAC leader with 5.4 assists per game entering the weekend, moved into ESU's career top 10 with 265 assists. He had 10+ assists for the third time in five games, and his second double-double in the last four games.

ESU shot 51.4 percent (37-for-72) from the field after hitting less than 33 percent of its shots in Wednesday's win over Cheyney. Grant made five of the Warriors' nine three-pointers, and ESU was 24-for-34 at the foul line.

The Warriors had a 23-12 advantage in turnovers, including 14-5 in the second half. ESU, second in DII in turnover margin entering the weekend, improved to 13-0 this year and 28-2 the last two years when holding an advantage of +5 or greater.

Troy Hockaday scored 28 points (20 in the first half), Shannon Givens scored 20, Ben Mingledough had 15 and Cory Blake added 11 for West Chester.

ESU, which has shattered school records for its longest unbeaten start (previously 13-0) and longest single-season win streak (14), matched a school record for its longest-ever winning streak. The Warriors' 1941-42 and 1942-43 teams had a stretch of 18 straight wins, which they can break on Wednesday at Mansfield.

ESU (8-0 PSAC East) has a two-game lead over Bloomsburg (10-7, 6-2) through the first half of divisional play. Lock Haven and West Chester at 5-3, followed by Millersville and Kutztown at 4-4, Mansfield and Cheyney at 2-6, and Shippensburg 0-8.
