EAST STROUDSBURG – No. 10-ranked East Stroudsburg University made 15 three-pointers, its most in 12 seasons under head coach
Jeff Wilson, and matched its best-ever start at 13-0 with a 101-69 win over Clarion on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.

The Warriors matched the 2009-10 team with their unbeaten start, and will have the opportunity to break that mark – and match the single-season record for a winning streak – when they travel to Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday to close the non-conference PSAC schedule.
ESU extended its home non-conference winning streak to 38 games, which dates to November 27, 2007 and will continue into the 2014-15 season.

Anthony McKie (nine points) hit the last of his three first-half three-pointers to start a 15-4 run to finish the first half, sending the Warriors to the break with a 40-29 lead.
ESU poured it on in the second half, scoring 61 points and shooting 59.0 percent (23-for-39), including 6-for-13 from the three-point line while committing just one turnover, which cam ein the final two minutes.
The Warriors scored 52 points in a 13-minute stretch – from three minutes left in the first half to 9:45 in the second half – when Brown drilled his fourth three of the game, and the team's 14th.

Brown (17) and Nwaniemeka (13) were the only Warriors in double figures as ESU scored 100+ points in regulation against a PSAC team for the fifth time under Wilson – and third time this season.

DeMarius Miller scored 17 points, Aaron Johnson had 12, Mike Kromka had 11 points and 11 rebounds and BJ Andrews scored 10 to give Clarion (2-8) four players in double figures.
ESU held a 21-7 advantage in turnovers, its fifth time with a +10 or greater differential this season. The Warriors had a 27-13 advantage in a 75-60 win over Gannon on Friday, and entered the week ranked fourth in DII with a margin of +7.7.
ESU shot 50.7 percent (38-for-75) overall. Its seven turnovers are the fewest this season, and tied for the second-fewest in 323 games under Wilson.
The Warriors will face PSAC newcomer Pitt-Johnstown in its final non-conference PSAC crossover game on Wednesday at 8 p.m. in western Pennsylvania. The Mountain Cats (9-4) are coming off a 71-69 win at Bloomsburg on Saturday after falling at Lock Haven, 81-76 (OT), on Friday.
