ESU responded with a 13-play, 73-yard drive with Soltes hitting R-Sr. TE Steven Jones for a seven-yard TD - the 20th of his career - to tie the game at 7-7 with 4:31 left in the first quarter.

Misley drove Millersville 61 yards on seven plays to take a 13-7 lead early in the second quarter, finding Kevin Wiggins for a 14-yard touchdown.

ESU took the lead for good late in the second quarter on a four-yard TD pass from Soltes to Schnaars, the first of their three TD's. The Warriors got the ball back with two minutes left in the half and drove from their three-yard line to the Millersville seven, but Soltes threw an interception in the end zone with 10 seconds left in the period.

Thomson blocked a 46-yard field goal by Evan Stahl to open the third quarter and the Warriors drove 56 yards to extend the lead to 21-13. Healy ran for 30 yards on the drive and Soltes found Schnaars for a 29-yard TD.

ESU scored on its first three possessions of the second half and marched 93 yards on seven plays to make it 28-13. Soltes scrambled and found Schnaars for an eight-yard gain on third-and-eight, and Healy took a screen pass for a 41-yard TD on the first play of the fourth quarter.

ESU finished the scoring with a 13-play, 63-yard drive midway through the fourth quarter capped by a 13-yard TD from Soltes to Schnaars that gave the Warriors a 35-13 lead with 6:35 remaining.
