Casey Choffy scored on either side of halftime as East Stroudsburg University edged Georgian Court, 2-1, in non-conference men's soccer on Monday night at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
Albino scored in the 41st minute on an assist from freshman forward
Christian Bukowski, and Choffy headed in a free kick taken by sophomore midfielder
Jeff Wolf in the 61st minute as ESU (4-6-1) won for the third time in four games.
Ben Vergara scored 2:08 into the second half for Georgian Court (3-6-2), which won 3-0 in last year's season opener in the only previous meeting between the two schools.
Junior goalkeeper
J.B. Pahls had five saves for ESU. Sebastian Mikuska and Rylan Gentil both had three saves for Georgian Court.
ESU had a 12-11 advantage in shots.
Albino and Choffy both scored their second goals of the season, and second of their careers. Bukowski notched his team-leading fourth assist and Wolf's assist was his first career point.
ESU travels to Goldey-Beacom in Wilmington, Delaware for a non-conference game on Thursday at 4 p.m.
