WomenSHIPPENSBURG - Freshman
Steven Morgan won the 110m hurdles for the third individual winner for East Stroudsburg University's men's team, and the Warriors were runner-up for the seventh time in the last 11 PSAC Championships as ESU completed the 2014 outdoor championship on Saturday at Shippensburg University.
Junior
Christina O'Connor won the women's high jump with a mark of 5-7 3/4, improving her NCAA provisional mark. She claimed her third PSAC championship after winning indoor titles in each of the last two seasons.
ESU was second behind Shippensburg's PSAC record performance as the Raiders' men scored 278 points at their home facility, topping their record 184.5 points in 2012. ESU scored 104 points, followed by Slippery Rock (90) and Kutztown (83). The Warriors have been runner-up in seven of the last 11 championships since the 2009 outdoor season, including the indoor championships this year.
Junior
Travis Toth won the hammer throw (198-11) and sophomore
William Berry captured the high jump (6-10 1/4) for the Warriors on Friday. ESU had nine top-three finishes on the men's side, including its three individual winners.
ESU's women were seventh with 60 points after finishing as runner-up during the indoor season. Shippensburg won with 112 points, edging Slippery Rock (110), followed by Millersville (90), Edinboro (82), Bloomsburg (66), Kutztown (63), ESU (60) and Seton Hill (59).
The men's 4x400m relay and women's 4x800m relay both set school records on Saturday.

Damien Boham ran 3:12.07, an NCAA provisional, breaking the mark of 3:13.91 set in 2011. ESU was second behind Shippensburg, which won in 3:12.05.

Women's ResultsO'Connor's third PSAC title highlighted the Warriors' weekend at Shippensburg. She moved into a tie for 10th on the national list at 5-7 3/4 and is in contention for her third trip to the NCAA Championships, where she was an All-American indoors as a sophomore in 2013.
Junior
Danielle Smith was second in the 100m dash (12.07) and helped the Warriors to a third-place finish in the 4x100m relay (48.03). Smith, a seven-time PSAC champion and the two-time defending PSAC champion in the 100, suffered an injury in the 4x1 but still came back to finish second in the 100. She was eighth in the 200 in 26.03 after running the No. 3 qualifying time on Friday in 25.63.
The 4x1 relay was led off by senior
Rachel Pierantozzi, followed by Smith, sophomore
Tirzah Johnson and freshman
Alexis Bell. Johnson was fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 38-3 1/2, a two-foot season best and a PR of almost 1.5 feet.
The 4x8 relay was fifth with its school-record time of 9:30.97 from Ragard (2:20.9), Toth (2:23.5), Brady (2:26.1) and Wernerspach (2:20.2).
Wernerspach was third in the 1500m in 4:41.55 after running ninth in the 800m on Friday.
Senior
Colleen Murphy was fourth in the 400m (57.10), running a PR for the second straight day. She was third in the prelims with a time of 57.21.
ESU had two scorers in the pole vault in senior
Laura Beimfohr, who was seventh for her sixth career PSAC scoring performance, and sophomore
Kirsten Muhaw. Both cleared 11-4 1/2.
Two Warriors had big scoring performances on Friday. Senior
Theresa Horn was second in the heptathlon with an NCAA provisional score of 4,454 points, and senior
Elizabeth Madden was fourth in the hammer with a PR of 159-3.
Men's ResultsESU scored in 16th of 22 events and is the runner-up both indoors for the second time in school history, also accomplishing that in 2010.
The Warriors had three winners in Toth in the hammer (his second career) and Berry in the high jump on Friday, and Morgan in the 110m hurdles in his first outdoor championships.
ESU scored 21 points in the 110m hurdles with Morgan's victory followed by freshman
Ronald D'Eliseo (3rd, 14.94), sophomore
Adam Robertino (5th, 15.28) and sophomore
Derrick Washington (8th, 15.36).
D'Eliseo also ran third in the men's 400m hurdles (53.59) and is just the third ESU men's hurdler to score in both the high and intermediate hurdles since 1980.
Junior
Casey Ciaston was second in the discus with a mark of 158-11, just off his PR of 159-9. Sophomore
Thomas Freid was fifth in the javelin with a PR of 194-2, an NCAA provisional mark.
The 4x4 relay had an impressive school record of 3:12.07, breaking the 2011 time of 3:13.91 by almost two seconds and finishing second to Ship's 3:12.05. Parker-Washington led off in 48.5, followed by Washington (47.8), Garvey (48.5) and Boham, who anchored in 47.1.
Parker-Washington gained nine team points, finishing third in the 200m (22.25) and sixth in the 100m dash (10.87). Boham was fourth in the 400m (48.51) after placing sixth in the 800 (1:56.37) on Friday.
ESU was third in the 4x100m relay in 42.07 after running the top time in the prelims (41.75) with the quartet of sophomore
Seth Bailey, D'Eliseo, Morgan and Parker-Washington.
Senior
Chris Schneider was seventh in the 1500m (4:02.87) for his fourth career scoring performance. He anchored in the 4x800m relay (junior

Anthony Ruiz) to sixth place in 8:00.27.
NCAA ProvisionalsESU has 12 provisional qualifiers for the NCAA Division II Championships, which will be contested May 22-24 at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Michigan.
The Warriors' top marks are held by Toth in the men's hammer (198-11), Berry in the men's high jump (6-10 1/4) and O'Connor in the women's high jump (5-7 3/4).
Additional NCAA provisional marks were achieved by Smith in the 400m (55.75), Muhaw in the pole vault (11-11 3/4), Horn in the heptathlon (4,454 points), Boham in the 400m (47.95), Schneider in the 5000m (14:37.00), Morgan in the 110m hurdles (14.69), D'Eliseo in the 400m hurdles (53.26), Freid in the javelin (194-2) and the men's 4x4 relay (3:12.07).
