ESU Men’s Soccer, St. Thomas Aquinas Tie 1-1 (2OT)

EAST STROUDSBURG - Freshman forward Christian Bukowski scored the game-tying goal in the 74th minutes as East Stroudsburg University and St. Thomas Aquinas tied, 1-1 (2OT), in non-conference men's soccer on Saturday at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
 
Bukowski, the 2013 Mountain Valley Conference Player of the Year at Stroudsburg, leveled the score at 1-1 with his first career goal after Laurie Child scored in the 53rd minute for St. Thomas Aquinas.

Junior goalkeeper J.B. Pahls had eight saves for ESU (1-2-1), which was outshot 21-11. Nicholas Palumbo had six saves for St. Thomas Aquinas (1-0-2). The Spartans had an 11-4 advantage in corner kicks.
 
ESU was coming off a 2-1 (OT) win at Felician on Thursday. The Warriors open their PSAC schedule next weekend in Erie, at Gannon on Friday (4:30 p.m.) and Mercyhurst on Saturday (3:30 p.m.).
