Casey Albino scored his first career goal in the 48th minute for ESU (1-3-1, 0-1).
Gavin Linsell, Connor Pletz and Nick Stephenson scored in the first half and three-time All-PSAC first team forward Robbie Bennett scored in the 82nd minute for Gannon (2-3-1, 1-0).
Gannon had a 16-4 advantage in shots. Junior goalkeeper
J.B. Pahls made four saves for the Warriors.
ESU faces Mercyhurst (4-2, 0-1) in a 3:30 p.m. start on Saturday. The Lakers fell 2-1 to West Chester on Friday.
