Watson, Danny Deakin and Richard Vanhorne scored in a two-minute stretch in the first half for Mercyhurst (5-2, 1-1), the two-time defending NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional champion. Watson and Patrick Gehring scored in the second half.

J.B. Pahls made five saves for the Warriors. Freshman
Madison Crum-Burger made two saves in just under 12 minutes in his first career action.
Nicolas Smith had one save for Mercyhurst, which had a 20-5 advantage in shots.
The Warriors host Bloomsburg on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at Eiler-Martin Stadium in the first game of a doubleheader.
