EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior guard Whis Grant scored 15 points and tied East Stroudsburg University's career record for three-pointers in a 107-46 win over Penn State-Lehigh Valley on Saturday afternoon at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Grant led five players in double figures and senior guard Matt Tobin had six points and 10 assists for the Warriors (9-5), who return to PSAC East action on Wednesday at Cheyney.

Junior guard Jamal Nwaniemeka scored 12 points, sophomore forward Rasheed Moore scored 11 and freshman guard Jakwan Jones and redshirt freshman guard Steven Stoney scored 10 points each for ESU.

The Warriors shot 55.7 percent (39-for-70) and made 15 three-pointers, tied for the program's most in 13 seasons under head coach Jeff Wilson.

Joe Wiggins, a Pocono Mountain West graduate, scored 10 points to lead PSU-Lehigh Valley (4-9).

PSU-Lehigh Valley is in its third season under head coach Anthony Ross, a 2006 ESU graduate. Ross was a two-year starter at point guard for the Warriors and ESU's 2005 Male Senior Athlete of the Year. He averaged 10.3 points per game and had 111 assists and 45 steals as a senior.

Grant tied the career three-point record (236) held by Andy Heimbach, who starred at guard for the Warriors from 2006-10. Grant broke Heimbach's single-season record for three's last year, making 88 to surpass Heimbach's mark of 76 set during the 2009-10 season.

All 13 players who dressed scored for the Warriors. Redshirt senior guard Will Brown scored nine points, senior forward Lamont Tillery and sophomore forward Steve Harris scored eight points each, Tobin and sophomore forward Sultan Aminu both scored six, redshirt senior guard Muhamadou Kaba had five, junior forward Wes Cherry scored four and redshirt sophomore guard Marquis Marshall had three.

ESU had 31 assists on 39 made field goals. The Warriors held a 31-10 advantage in turnovers and had 19 steals.
 
 
GAME NOTES
* ESU head coach Jeff Wilson improves to 222-134 in his 13th season at ESU.
* Wilson is three wins from tying former Cheyney and Temple coach John Chaney for 11th on the PSAC wins list. Chaney won 225 games at Cheyney from 1971-82.

* R-Sr. G Muhamadou Kaba played in his 98th career game and made his first career start.

* Tobin had his 6th career game with 10+ assists, and his first of the season.

* Tobin ranks 3rd at ESU with 446 career assists:
