Photo GalleryEAST STROUDSBURG - Devante Chance had 23 points, five rebounds and six assists, leading No. 20-ranked IUP to a 78-63 win over East Stroudsburg University in PSAC men's basketball on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.
Chance scored 21 of his 23 points in the second half for the Crimson Hawks (11-2, 5-2), who won a match-up of two schools that have combined for the last five PSAC championships. ESU has won two of the last three titles (2012, 2014) and IUP won PSAC championships in 2010, 2011 and 2013.
Daddy Ugbede had 19 points (16 in the first half) and eight rebounds, Brandon Norfleet scored 15 and Jeremy Jeffers added 13 for IUP.

Whis Grant had 11 for ESU (7-4, 6-2), which is tied for the PSAC East lead after Kutztown (9-5, 6-2) beat Edinboro 73-71 on Saturday.
IUP shot 60.0 percent (33-for-55) and committed just 12 turnovers against ESU's pressure defense in ending the Warriors' 20-game home winning streak against PSAC schools, the third-longest in program history. ESU's last home loss to a PSAC school was an 83-76 setback to West Chester on February 23, 2013.
IUP led by as many as 11 points in the first half and held a 36-29 advantage at halftime after Nwaniemeka made two three-pointers in the final minute of the half to cut into the deficit.
Moore hit a three-pointer and Grant had a layup to get within 38-34 early in the second half before IUP responded with a 12-0 run, including consecutive three-pointers by Jeffers, Chance and Jeffers again to push the lead to 16.
ESU came back with a 7-0 run to close within 50-41, but IUP answered with nine straight points, capped by a three-pointer by Chance, for a 59-41 advantage with less than 12 minutes remaining.
ESU falls to 32-5 at Koehler Fieldhouse since the start of the 2012-13 season. The 15-point margin is ESU's largest home loss since a 78-56 setback to Kutztown in February 2008, and ESU's first loss by more than 10 points since a 68-53 loss at USciences in November 2012.
The Warriors host Seton Hill (3-8, 2-5) on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse. The Griffins posted a 67-58 road win at Bloomsburg on Saturday.
