MILLERSVILLE - Anthony Moe had 22 points and 18 rebounds as Millersville held off East Stroudsburg University, 61-58, in PSAC East men's basketball on Saturday afternoon at Pucillo Gymnasium.

ESU (14-6, 12-4) led 30-23 at halftime, but the Marauders (11-11, 7-9) started the second half with a 15-2 run as the Warriors had a season-best six-game winning streak come to an end.

ESU maintains its two-game lead in the PSAC East over Kutztown (13-9, 10-6) after the Golden Bears fell in 4OT to West Chester, 99-96, on Saturday.

The Warriors battled back to tie the game three times in the final 17 minutes, the last at 57-57 with 2:28 remaining, but Moe had a putback with 46.3 seconds left to put Millersville back in front.

Senior guard Whis Grant made 1-of-2 for ESU at the line to make it 59-58 with 37.2 seconds remaining. The Warriors forced a turnover on a steal by sophomore forward Rasheed Moore with 15 seconds to play, but turned it over at the other end in the final five seconds and a layup by Shawn Williams at the buzzer set the final margin.

ESU had won 16 straight games against the PSAC East since last February, and 28 of their last 29 since late February 2013. The Warriors are now 45-9 in countable PSAC games since the start of the 2012-13 season, including 21-6 on the road.

Grant scored 14 points, redshirt senior guard Will Brown had 13 and senior forward Lamont Tillery had 12 for the Warriors. Senior guard Matt Tobin had five points and nine assists.

ESU shot 19-for-54 (35.2 percent) from the field and 9-for-30 from the three-point line, but just 6-for-22 from the floor in the second half. The Warriors attempted just six two-point shots in the second half and were 5-for-16 from long distance and 11-for-15 at the foul line in the last 20 minutes.

Williams had 14 points and Eddie Callender had 11 points and 10 rebounds for Millersville, which shot 22-for-52 (42.3 percent) overall, 3-for-13 from three and 14-for-15 at the foul line. The Marauders had 20 turnovers, but just six in the second half, outscoring ESU 38-28 after intermission.

The Warriors led for most of the first half in building a 30-23 lead, but Callender and Moe combined for 11 points in a 15-2 stretch that gave Millersville a 38-32 lead with 13 minutes remaining.

ESU hit four three-pointers in the next five minutes, two by Brown, one by Tillery and a four-point play by Grant, to tie the game at 46-46 with 8:05 left.

After a Moe three-point play, two free throws by Callender and a bucket by Williams, ESU climbed back to tie it at 53-all on a three by Brown with 4:11 remaining for its final field goal of the game.

Williams and Moe gave Millersville a 57-53 lead, then Tillery and Grant both made a pair at the line to tie it again with 2:28 remaining.

After two defensive stops, including a blocked shot by Moore, Moe had a putback to give Millersville its final lead and set up the finish.

ESU hosts Shippensburg (11-8, 7-8) on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse. Ship built a big lead and held off Bloomsburg for a 68-65 win on Saturday.
