ERIE - Redshirt freshman Dylan Nace placed fifth at 141 pounds and freshman Mike Raccioppi (149) and senior Tyson Searer (285) were both sixth in their weight classes, leading East Stroudsburg University at the 2015 PSAC Wrestling Championships on Saturday at Mercyhurst University.

Searer is a three-time placewinner, finishing sixth at 197 pounds as a freshman in 2012 and sophomore in 2013. He is the fifth three-time placewinner in nine seasons under head coach Joey Rivera, joining Shane Mallory (2007-09), Adam Hluschak (2009-11), Ed Ebewo (2009-11) and Braden Turner (2011-13).

Nace finished fifth at 141 with a second-period fall (4:47) vs. John Marotto (Gannon). He dropped his quarterfinal bout to No. 1 seed Dan Neff (Lock Haven) by a 14-6 score, then pinned Thomas Nulty (Millersville) in 4:46 in the consolation quarterfinals. He dropped a 9-0 bout to No. 3 seed Sam Hanau (Pitt-Johnstown), ranked fifth in Super Region 1, in the consolation semis.

Raccioppi reached the semifinals at 149 and was ESU's only seeded wrestler, entering as the No. 5 seed. He opened with a pair of victories - a 17-6 major decision vs. Nick Haegele (Millersville) and a third-period fall (6:09) vs. No. 4 seed Joe Esposito (Kutztown), ranked fourth in the region. Raccioppi is sixth in the most recent regional rankings.

Raccioppi lost by technical fall (22-5, 5:51) vs. No. 1 seed Patricio Lugo (Edinboro) in the semifinals. He bowed out of the tournament via medical forfeit vs. Brodie Zacherl (Clarion) and Cody Wheeler (Lock Haven).

He improved to 10-3 on the season after entering with an 8-2 mark.

Searer won a pair of consolation bouts to reach the placewinner rounds at 285 after a first-round setback (3:39) vs. No. 1 seed William Miller (Edinboro). He had a 9-0 major decision vs. Derek Earnest (Shippensburg) and a 6-0 decision vs. Saul Wilkins (Bloomsburg) to get to the consolation semifinals. He was pinned in 40 seconds by No. 5 seed Zach Deluca (Clarion), and dropped a 3-2 decision vs. No. 4 seed Brad Emerick (Lock Haven) to finish sixth.

Redshirt junior Marius Kola (133) reached the quarterfinals with a 7-5:sv1 win vs. Anthony Petril (Kutztown).

Junior Joey Kratochvil won a consolation bout, 7-4 vs. Douglas Mele (Millersville).

ESU finished 11th of 12 schools with 28.5 points. The Warriors were ninth with 20 points last year.

Edinboro won its 10th PSAC championship in 11 seasons by a 136.5-118 margin over Lock Haven. The PSAC's four Division I programs finished first (Edinboro), second (Lock Haven), fourth (Clarion) and ninth (Blooomsburg).

Mercyhurst was the top DII finisher, placing third with 108.5 points. The Lakers are ranked first in Super Region 1 and fourth nationally.
