EAST STROUDSBURG - Redshirt sophomore shortstop Conner Crookham homered twice in his first action since April 4, leading East Stroudsburg University to an 11-0 (7 inn.) win over Mercy College in a rain-shortened non-conference baseball game on Wednesday.

Crookham was 3-for-5 with a double, two homers and three RBI for the Warriors. He last played in the first game of ESU's series vs. Lock Haven three weeks ago.

Junior 1B Dylan Tamecki was 3-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI and two runs, and redshirt junior 3B Drew Hercik was 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs for the Warriors (25-16).

Freshman Derrick Jackson threw 5.0 scoreless innings in his second start of the season. Jackson struck out six and allowed four hits, two walks and three hit batters while stranding eight baserunners. Freshman Joe Cominsky struck out three and allowed one hit in 2.0 innings in relief.

ESU had 15 hits before the game was called due to rain with nobody out in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Crookham hit a leadoff homer in the third to give ESU a 3-0 lead, then hit a two-run homer as part of a seven-run sixth inning that put the Warriors ahead, 11-0.

Junior DH Brett Bonn had two hits and junior catcher Ryan Richards and freshman OF Christian Rishel both doubled for the Warriors.

ESU, 10-14 in PSAC East play, faces Bloomsburg (13-19, 10-14) with a potential PSAC Tournament berth at stake on the final weekend of the regular season. The Warriors host the second half of the four-game series on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mitterling Field.
