Christian Bukowski had a hat trick after junior back
Casey Albino scored the game-tying goal as No. 17-ranked East Stroudsburg University rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit for a 4-1 win over Felician in non-conference men's soccer on Monday night at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
Bukowski scored goals in the 71st, 75th and 81st minutes for ESU's first hat trick since Kevin Holmes scored all three goals in a 3-1 win vs. Philadelphia University in 2008.
Albino tied the game at 1-1 in the 67th minute after Brian Semorile scored the game's first goal in the 23rd minute for Felician (1-5).
ESU (5-2) had assists from senior forward
Casey Choffy, freshman midfielder
Alex Kardos and junior midfielder
Andrew McGinley.
ESU held a 25-10 advantage in shots and a 6-0 margin in corner kicks. Freshman
Will Boerema played the second half and made one save for the Warriors. John Burns made seven saves for Felician.
Bukowski has five goals and three assists through seven games for the Warriors. Choffy tallied his first assist of the year to go with seven goals. Albino's goal was the third of his career.
McGinley had both goals in a 2-1 (OT) win at Felician last fall. The Warriors improve to 6-0 in the all-time series.
ESU travels to Lock Haven for a PSAC contest on Saturday at 6 p.m.
