Will Brown scored 17 points, lead East Stroudsburg University to a 102-84 win at Lock Haven in PSAC East men's basketball on Wednesday night at Thomas Fieldhouse.
ESU (14-3, 10-3) won its eighth straight game overall and seventh straight against PSAC competition as the PSAC's highest-scoring team (89.9 ppg) hit the 100-point mark for the fifth time this season.
The Warriors finished the game on a 21-7 run - including a 10-0 stretch in the final 1:17 to close it out - and held LHU scoreless (0-for-5, 2 turnovers) in the last 2:56.
ESU shot 19-for-33 in the second half and 6-for-8 from the three-point line, scoring 59 points after holding a 43-35 lead at halftime. The Warriors shot 50.7 percent (35-for-69) overall and 10-for-22 from long distance.

Shawn Church scored 21 points (17 in the second half) and Brahieme Jackson had 18 and eight rebounds for Lock Haven (10-8, 6-8).
ESU, the PSAC leader in field goal percentage defense (39.5), limited LHU to 44.1 percent for the game and just 4-for-16 from long range.
ESU (22-for-33) and LHU (28-for-41) combined for 74 free throw attempts, including 38 in the first half. There were 54 total fouls (ESU 28, LHU 26).
Moore had his third double-double of the season and ninth of his career for ESU, which is unbeaten since falling to Edinboro and Mercyhurst on December 4-5 at Koehler Fieldhouse.
He scored 13 of his 19 in the second half, helping ESU answer several Lock Haven runs after the Bald Eagles cut the lead to two possessions on several occasions.
He hit a three-pointer, then set up a three by Krawczeniuk to give the Warriors a 57-49 lead with 15:16 left.
After LHU made it 68-64, Krawczeniuk hit another three to spark a 7-0 run, and Nwaniemeka hit a three to make it 79-69 following another quick LHU run.
ESU put the game away after Lock Haven scored six straight to get within 81-77 with 5:37 remaining.
Brown made two free throws to end the stretch, Giordano hit a big three and Brown hit a triple to put the Warriors in front, 89-78, with four minutes remaining. LHU managed to pull within eight (92-84) before ESU's closing 10-0 stretch, including three-point plays by Brown and Cherry in the final minute.
Nwaniemeka, ESU's top scorer (13.4 ppg) entering the night, had 10 points to close in on the 1,000-point mark for his career. He has 995 career points, 984 at ESU and 11 at Rider as a freshman in 2012-13.
Brown's 17 points give him 971 in his career. He has 201 career three-pointers, including three on Wednesday night, becoming the third ESU player with 200 career three's (
Whis Grant 268, 2011-15; Andy Heimbach 236, 2006-10).
Freshman guard
Najee Walls (5 points, 5 assists), the PSAC assist leader with 6.1 per game, and Krawczeniuk (9 points, 5 assists) combined for 14 points and 10 assists at point guard for the Warriors. Moore had four assists, tying his career-high.

Sultan Aminu added six points each for the Warriors.
ESU travels to Shippensburg (12-5, 9-4) on Saturday with Ship entering on a seven-game winning streak. The Warriors won 85-61 on November 18 at Koehler Fieldhouse.
ESU is in the midst of a winning streak of 8+ games for the sixth time in the last nine seasons. The Warriors' previous winning streak of at least eight games prior to the 2007-08 season was a 10-game stretch in 1972-73 (no streaks of 8+ wins for 34 years).
